Bulgarian top player Unimasters Logistics expands its service portfolio in Romania

Unimasters Logistics Plc is a fast-growing, advanced supply chain management company, headquartered in Bulgaria with fully owned subsidiaries in Romania and Hungary. Its corporate structure now includes seven fully owned subsidiaries specialised in port and marine logistics; liner agency, freight transportation by sea, land and air; contract logistics; insurance and reinsurance brokerage. The company, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this May, operates offices in all major ports and airports in Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary and has partner networks all around the world.
 

UNIMASTERS LOGISTICS - 25 YEARS


Unimasters is driven by quality, safety and environment principles. It has recently combined all applied standards and frameworks into a Integrated Risk Management and Compliance system, certified by DNV GL and comprising the ISO standards 9001, 14001, 27001, 2800, AEO (customs and security) and HACCP. It was also certified by DEKRA for reduced CO2 emissions as per the standard DIN EN 16258.
The Romanian subsidiary Unimasters Logistics SRL, which is registered in Ilfov and has a branch office in Constanta, has fully adopted the company’s evolving digital collaborative business model, based on the latest cloud, mobile and big data technologies.
 
The main focus of the company’s activity besides seafreight and airfreight is road freight groupage, FTL and LTL from and to Romania to/from all European destinations and origins. As part of ONLINE Systemlogistik, which is a cooperative association of medium-sized and owner-managed logistics companies of 81 system partners across Europe Unimasters belongs to one of the leading medium-sized cooperatives in the general cargo sector. ONLINE Systemlogistik is also a founding member of the alliance of the pallet networks -Allnet, which combines 17.000 vehicles and 28.000 employees in transportation of 36.000 pallets every day and includes Astre Palet System, France; One Express, Italy; ONLINE Systemlogistik, Germany and Palletforce, UK.  As from 1 July 2015 Unimasters Logistics SRL will increase the frequency from 3 to 4 departures weekly with short transit times from Romania to the main EU countries and vice versa. The enhanced groupage service will be maintained with brand new Euro 6 DAF XF440 trucks with fiberglass double-deck trailers.
