Founded in 1994, Cartrans Preda has established itself as a leader in road, sea, and air transport, continually investing in modern technology and people, in diversification and synergies around transport business with the aim of offering innovative and adaptable solutions for the continuous changing demands of the transport customers.
Cartrans Preda ended 2022 with a turnover of 16,754,439 euros, working especially for customers from automotive, but transporting also garments, industrial goods, general merchandise.
Cartrans Preda offers integrated services of freight forwarding, transport and logistics services. For maximum flexibility, the company has developed an independent truck & trailer workshop which does professional repairing services both for its own fleet and especially for third parties.
Domestic and International Transport
The company takes advantage of an extensive fleet of 118 trucks, not older than 2-3 years, EURO 6 Step D and E, with low CO2 emissions, and mega semitrailers, for the best efficiency of the transport service.
All trucks are equipped with GPS monitoring devices, the customers having full visibility over their goods in real time.
An advantage is the comprehensive insurance package, covering different types of goods and destination.
The company is proud for its experienced drivers, almost 70% of them working here for more than 5 years and 40% for more than 10 years.
Freight Forwarding and Transport
Cartrans developed a dedicated business unit specialized in freight forwarding services. Cartrans Spedition organizes domestic and international transport services in optimal conditions and with competitive prices, covering a wide range of markets.
The company offers, thus, a mix between own trucks (for major clients) and subcontracted trucks (for clients with small and variable volumes).
Logistics and Storage
The company develops itself towards logistics services in order to complete the transport and forwarding solutions.
Cartrans acquired and developed two warehouses – one in Brazii de Sus (6,000 sq.m) and another one in Industrial Park Ploiești (2,000 sq.m).
The company intends also to develop a Pharma/Healthcare transport division. Most of the efforts are oriented towards developing the forwarding activities, using the 30 years of experience and expertise in the field for the customers that need specialized and tailor-made transport solutions.
